Davey promotes Peters to VP, GM of Davey Tree Surgery Company

The Davey Tree Expert Company has promoted Kevin Peters to vice president and general manager of the Davey Tree Surgery Company.

"Kevin has willingly accepted and excelled at every opportunity he's been given since joining Davey," says Pat Covey, chairman, president and CEO at Davey. "His management has driven ample success in utility line clearance in the western U.S., so I'm positive Kevin will continue to build on that success in his new role."

Peters joined Davey in 2008 when Davey acquired The Care of Trees. More recently, Peters had been promoted to vice president of the Western operating group, U.S. Residential/Commercial services in 2016, then in 2017 was promoted to vice president of the Surgery Company.

Peters is an International Society of Arboriculture Certified Master Arborist, holds an ISA Tree Risk Assessment Qualification and is a Certified Utility Safety Professional.
