By mid-August the 19-acre outdoor demonstration area at the first-ever GREEN INDUSTRY & Equipment EXPO (GIE+EXPO) had already been completely reserved. The three-day demonstration feature at the International Lawn, Garden & Power Equipment Expo and the one-day demo event at the Green Industry Expo were very popular. Now that the two major tradeshows have merged, the industry will see the best of both, combined into a three-day, try-before-you-buy outdoor marketplace, just steps away from the 650 indoor exhibits. Free trams sponsored by Cub Cadet will transport visitors between the indoor exhibits and the demo area.
GIE+EXPO 2007 will be held in Louisville at the Kentucky Exposition Center,
Oct. 25-27.
“There’s no better way to compare products than to get your hands on the controls and see what the equipment can really do and how it feels," said Show Director Warren Sellers. "Dealers and professional users will be the first in the world to preview - and use - most of these products.”
Sellers said outdoor exhibitors like Ariens, Briggs & Stratton, Jameson LLC, Scag Power Equipment, Walker Manufacturing Co. and White Drive Products will be demonstrating their new products for 2008. Many will hold competitions, events and giveaways to showcase their products and supplies for the turf care industry.
