Beginning with a limited assortment of drip irrigation accessories, DIG has over the years expanded and become a distributor of battery-operated irrigation controllers and valves, and also the manufacturer of a complete line of low volume irrigation products, including drippers, micro sprinklers, sprayers, misting heads, drip hose, fittings and accessories.
In 1991, DIG relocated their corporate headquarters from Sun Valley, Calif., to the growing industrial base of North County San Diego, in the city of San Marcos. In 2000, DIG relocated again to a 40,000-square-foot facility in Vista, Calif. This location allows DIG to ship across the United States as well as provide a strategic location for international shipments.
In 2001, DIG acquired the LEIT controller, an ambient light powered irrigation controller. This was a natural complement to DIG’s battery-operated controllers, according to the company.
DIG has assembled a staff of irrigation professionals and operation specialists. DIG's sales management includes a national sales manager for each of its three divisions, as well as a host of regional sales representatives located throughout the United States.
