Dow AgroSciences Announces Staff Changes

Company names product communications manager, a new sales representative and appoints a sales representative to a new territory.

Dow AgroSciences is pleased to announce it has named a new product communications manager, has hired a new sales representative and has appointed a sales representative to a new territory.

Susan Leisure Carney is the new product communications manager for the turf and ornamental division. Previous to her new role, she was a sales representative for Dow AgroSciences in southeast and southwest Florida for six years. Carney has been with the company for 15 years. As product communications manager, she will manage and implement marketing communications programs and serve as media spokeswoman. A native of Rushville, Ind., Carney is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University – Indianapolis, where she earned bachelor’s degrees in business management and human resource management.

Anthony Grieco has joined the turf and ornamental team as the sales representative for Indiana, Kentucky, Illinois and Western Michigan. He replaces Tom Linnen, who has taken another position within the company. In his new role, Grieco will be a resource to local distributors and formulators to support the use and continued growth of Dimension® specialty herbicide, MACH® 2 specialty insecticide and Eagle® 20EW specialty fungicide and the rest of the Dow AgroSciences product line. Grieco began working for Dow AgroSciences in 1998 as a pest management sales representative. Following this, he worked in the supply chain group in Indianapolis, and was a distribution planner before taking on his new role. Grieco is a 1997 graduate of Purdue University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications.

Rick Miller is the new senior sales representative for central California. Prior to working for Dow AgroSciences, he managed sales in 12 western states for SePRO. Miller is a resource for municipalities, ranchers and larger landowners to support the continued growth of Accord® XRT and Vista® herbicides. He earned bachelor’s degrees in environmental biology and environmental studies from the University of California - Santa Barbara in 1980, and a master’s degree in entomology from Oregon State in 1984. Miller is a native of Valparaiso, Ind.
