Just like all the other key employees at the company, Georgeton is a graduate of the University of Oregon Landscape Architecture School. In addition to other design projects, her experience includes work on parks, from regional and neighborhood parks to large resort-style spaces. From conceptual design form through construction details, she brings her commitment and skills in showing thoughtful interpretation of the landscape to her new position.
“The fast growth in Central Oregon presents special opportunities for landscape professionals to shape public and private spaces,” said Georgeton. “I am so excited to work with the team at Drake Design Group as we create spaces that showcase the simple, beautiful landscape of earth and sky that exist in this region.”
She continued, “From a landscape designer’s point of view, there are many differences from the Willamette Valley due to the dry climate and cold winters. I am learning how useful native plants such as bitterbrush and sagebrush can be in this area.”
