OCEAN, N.J. – Advanced Agro Technologies, manufacturer of DryJect aeration and soil amendment equipment has recently relaunched the DryJect Web site with a new, informational 30-second animation that shows the three-dimensional effects of the DryJect process underneath the turf’s surface.
Used by more than two dozen DryJect franchisees nationwide, the DryJect machine injects dry materials directly into the turf while aerating. Golf courses, sports fields, municipalities and landscapers contract with DryJect Franchise Service Centers for injection and aeration services.

Following a blast of water from the DryJect machine through its system of nozzles into the turf subsurface, the patented DryJect system injects a selection of flowable dry amendments into the turf and aerates at the same time. Soil amendment options include sand, peat, diatomaceous earth, calcined clay, zeolites, top dressing, seeds, wetting agents, insecticides and biological products. The new Web site animation clearly depicts the process in action, showing three-dimensionally how a series of channels works together to form a subsurface pattern for injection and aeration.
According to DryJect management, the past six months have been devoted to intense collaboration with artists and animators to depict and help customers visualize what actually occurs below the turf surface during a DryJect application. Last year, the company embarked on an extensive photographic project attempting to capture the unique DryJect patterns in the subsurface, but the project was discontinued due to the lack of a true three-dimensional effect.
Now, the DryJect staff is excited about the company’s progress. “Previously, turf professionals were relegated to imaging or visualizing for themselves what the DryJect channel configuration looked like, until now,” the company said in a news release. “With the animation, they can now compare various methods more precisely. The additional testimonials and case study videos on the DryJect Web site help round out their understanding and additional product specifications and franchise information are available on the Web site as well.”
