DuPont Buys Griffin

The science company has acquired Griffin Corporation's interest in Griffin LLC, making DuPont the sole owner.

WILMINGTON, Del. – DuPont has acquired Griffin Corporation’s interest in Griffin LLC, thereby becoming the sole owner. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The purchase will allow DuPont Crop Protection to offer customers a more expansive product portfolio in key segments, including cotton, fruit, vegetable and professional products. Griffin LLC’s product line will complement the existing crop protection business.

Griffin LLC has five manufacturing sites in North and South America. Griffin LLC was formed in 1998.
