The magic of Disney awaits business owners, managers, and their families at the Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) 2009 Executive Forum, Feb. 19–22, 2009, at Disney’s Beach Club Resort, Walt Disney World Resort. Register before Jan. 19, 2009, and take advantage of great early-bird savings not only on registration for the event, but also on a number of activities Disney has to offer attendees and their families.
There’s something for everyone at Executive Forum at Disney. From Murray Banks, noted educator and world champion athlete, PLANET members will learn that “who we are may be as important as what we know!”; from Bill Arman, founder and head harvester of The Harvest Group, a landscape business consulting company, they’ll discover the most important areas an executive needs to understand and focus on in order to build an organization that’s “best of class”; and from Scott Smith, an advanced certified personal trainer, AFFA Group Fitness Instructor, clinical hypnotherapist, and founder of MotivationToMove.com (a popular health, fitness, and motivation Web site), they’ll receive the tools to improve their mental and physical fitness.
For spouses and children there are a host of activities. Each day of the Forum, they’ll have access to a Family Hospitality Suite, where they can enjoy a continental breakfast, midday snack, or just stop by for refreshments. In addition to the Welcome Reception on Thursday, and the Networking Happy Hour on Friday, the latter sponsored by Cub Cadet Commercial, spouses will have the opportunity to learn the art of floral arrangements the Disney way and to take Behind-the-Scene tours available through Disney.
Spouses and children will also have the opportunity to go on a Mouse Quest at Magic Kingdom Park and take in a breathtaking light display during a dessert reception on Saturday at IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot. For a complete list of activities for spouses and children, take a look at the Executive Forum brochure. For information about special tickets and savings only available for attendees and their families visit disneyconventionear.com/PLANET.
Major sponsors for this year’s Forum are John Deere at the Platinum level, Caterpillar at the Gold level, and Vermeer at the Silver level.
