Think your property is worthy of a Green Star?
The Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) now is accepting entries from 13 categories, including School or University Grounds, Hospital or Institution, Hotel, Motel and Resort, and will honor exceptional projects with a Grand or Honor award. The association will recognize winners of the Green Star Awards at the Green Industry Expo, Saturday, November 16 in Nashville, Tenn. One entry from each category will earn a Grand award, and judges will grant Honor awards to all other deserving projects.
To enter, send the entry form, payment and a color slide or photograph to the PGMS office at 720 Light St., Baltimore, Md., 21203. Fees are $125 for members and $180 for non-members. Check the March/April 2002 PGMS Forum newsletter for the official entry form, or contact the headquarters at 410/223-2861. Entry forms and a list of qualifications and categories also can be downloaded from the Web site at www.pgms.org.
