Easy Lawn, Greenwood, Del., recently reported the passing of team member Warren Hill, an industry friend and member of the company’s sales staff for many years.
Hill, a graduate Landscape Architect from the University of Massachusetts, retied from a successful boat-building career at age 62. Fortified by management experience in sales, manufacturing and marketing and his education in landscape architecture, he established Hydroseeding of Wisconsin, one of the first companies in the state to offer hydroseeding services for residential and commercial work. He sold that company in 1994 and established Landscape Equipment Suppliers – USA with a primary focus on the sale of Easy Lawn machines and supplies.
Well-known and respected by many lawn and landscape professionals in his region, Hill said the primary thrust of his work was the dissemination of knowledge and information. Product sales usually followed close behind.
Hill was a downhill skier, fisherman, a student of early American history and a loving husband, father and grandfather. He passed away February 2006. The Easy Lawn executive staff says Hill will be missed by all who know him.
