Eden app launches in Northeast Ohio

In honor of the launch, local healthcare workers and teachers can have their lawns mowed for $1 with proceeds benefiting the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.

CLEVELAND – Eden is now available in Cleveland. The mobile platform launched this week. In honor of the launch, local health care workers and teachers can receive a lawn mow for $1 with proceeds benefiting the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.*

Eden began in Canada in 2016. Services can instantly be requested through the Eden App, available for Apple App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android), or directly on the website, www.edenapp.com. With more than 35 services to choose from, customers can order anything from tree trimming or fertilizing to lawn cutting and snow removal.

How it Works

  1. Sign-Up: Users sign up and enter specific information about their property.
  2. Quote: An estimate is provided by Eden.
  3. Job Posted: Once the user accepts the quote, the job is posted to a nearby, licensed and insured contractor network of top-rated professionals.
  4. Pickup: A qualified contractor picks up the job and begins work capturing “before” photos.
  5. Progress updates: A chat function is available in the Eden App for the duration of the job, allowing for continuous communication.
  6. Completion: The contractor completes the job and sends “after” photos to the user for verification.
  7. Payment: The user accepts the completed job and payment is processed immediately.

“One of the primary benefits of the Eden App is that customers do not need to make a full-season commitment or sign a contract that most local landscape companies require,” said Founder and CEO Ben Zlotnick, who is a 20-year veteran and leader in the landscaping industry. “Costs are controlled by ordering as needed, with the option for recurrent services also available.

“We wanted to launch in Cleveland in a way that we could also help teachers and those working on the front line amid the COVID-19 pandemic,” he added. “Many health care workers are working extended shifts and teachers are doing double-duty with online learning, and the last thing they need to worry about is cutting their grass. Eden, and our network of contractors, are thrilled to give back to this very deserving group of people.”

Homeowners and property managers interested in using Eden should download the app from the Apple or Google stores.

*If you are a health care worker or teacher and would like to receive a lawn mow for $1, or if you would like to gift the lawn mow to a deserving teacher or caregiver, please enter CARE in the promo code on the Eden app. All proceeds will benefit the Greater Cleveland COVID-19 Rapid Response Fund.
