Electrolux said Monday that Magnus Yngen, head of its Major Appliances Europe, is stepping down to become president and CEO of Husqvarna, a maker of outdoor power products. Electrolux announced that a search for a new Head of Major Appliances Europe has begun.
Magnus Yngen will join Husqvarna, which was spun-off from Electrolux in 2006, at the latest by Oct. 1.
Yngen joined Electrolux in 1995 and joined Group Management in 2002, when he was appointed head of Floor Care and Small Appliances. In 2006, he was appointed head of Major Appliances Europe.
