This year, Bobcat of LI/NY celebrated its one-year anniversary of the new Westbury, N.J., facility by hosting a patriotic-themed open house March 9.
The company presented a specially decorated edition red, white and blue “Patriotic” model 773 skid-steer loader for auction. Profits generated from the sale were donated to the World Trade Center Relief Fund.
Approximately 100 people attended the one-day event and two customers won the final bid for the Patriotic 773 loader. The highest bidder was Kevin Crane of Crane’s Tree & Shrub Service, Massapequa, N.Y.
In addition to the auction, Bobcat of LI/NY offered a “Fork and Frame” attachment raffle, won by Tim Gordon of Loebs & Gordon Pool Craft, Sag Harbor, N.Y.
