Environmetrics Opens U.S. Distribution Center

Envirometrics systems has made it easier and less expensive to stop climbing and crawling with its BugBarrier Tree Band.
 
Environmetrics now has a U.S. warehouse and distribution center, according to Commercial Sales Manager Brian Pancoast. He says the Charlotte, N.C. facility was established to reduce border costs for small orders.
 
“Customs fees are less per kit when we ship a truckload rather than smaller orders,” Pancoast explains. “This will make it more attractive for our distributors to fill one and two kit orders without incurring high shipping costs. Multi-pallet orders will continue to be shipped to distributors directly from the London, Ontario factory.”
 
The BugBarrier Tree Band is designed to be easy to install and remove and contains no pesticide. The band consists of a dense, flexible, fiber barrier, which is wrapped around the trunk to fill bark crevices. An adhesive film barrier is intalled over the fiber, with the adhesive facing the tree.
