The EPA is hosting a free webinar to learn about the invasion of emerald ash borer in the United States and Canada.
Juli Gould, an entomologist at USDA, will discuss the effectiveness of pest management programs developed to eradicate this historic invasive species. This includes the effectiveness of mechanical, chemical and biological control approaches. The discussion will also cover insects in EAB’s native continent, Asia, that act as biological control agents capable of controlling EAB populations.
Participants can seek continuing education credits from their associations or states for participation in this webinar. The webinar runs Tuesday, June 8 from 2-3:30 p.m.Latest from Lawn & Landscape
