The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency recently recognized R&S Landscaping, Midland Park, N.J., as a partner in the GreenScapes Partnership Program.
By joining GreenScapes, R&S Landscaping has committed to undertaking a minimum of two GreenScapes activities and to make more holistic decisions regarding waste generation and disposal and the use of land, water, pesticides and energy.
According to Rob Schucker, president of R&S Landscaping, “Our company is a natural fit for the EPA’s GreenScapes Partnership Program as we have always been dedicated to the Reduce, Reuse, Recycle philosophy - the program’s mantra.”
Already known regionally for its projects that employ strategic water conservation, the reduction of pesticides, soil stabilizing techniques and the use of organics, R&S Landscaping also designs and installs rooftop gardens and green roof projects.
