Albaugh has received EPA registration for Fludioxonil SC (EPA Reg. No. 42750-255), a protectant fungicide for control of foliar, stem, and root diseases in turfgrasses and ornamental crops.
Fludioxonil SC contains the active ingredient fludioxonil, which features a mode of action derived from Pseudomonas pyrocinia, a naturally occurring soil bacterium. It disrupts fungal cells by interfering with osmotic regulation, causing them to absorb water, burst and die.
Designed for turf and ornamental professionals, Fludioxonil SC provides broad-spectrum disease control against pathogens including patch diseases, Anthracnose, Botrytis, pink and gray snow mold, and Rhizoctonia. Its contact activity offers multi-point protection — on the leaf surface, within the thatch and at the soil interface.
“Turf and ornamental managers need peace of mind with consistent disease control, and Fludioxonil SC delivers just that,” says Russ Mitchell, director of Albaugh Specialty Products. “The easy-to-use formulation supports superior resistance management as a group 12 fungicide. And its low risk of resistance makes it excellent for rotation or in mixtures for the key diseases it controls."
Fludioxonil SC is a complementary addition to the full product portfolio and is now available for sale exclusively through the Albaugh Specialty Products distribution network.
