GIE offers four days of priceless educational, trade show exhibits and outdoor equipment demonstrations, but the industry experience does not end when the sun goes down.
In fact, Green Industry Expo attendees have much to look forward to during their evenings in St. Louis next week.
Industry associations – namely the Associated Landscape Contractors of America (ALCA), the Professional Lawn Care Association of America (PLCAA) and the Professional Grounds Management Society (PGMS) – offer attendees a variety of evening activities and ticketed events.
Industry professionals are invited to attend the events below. Everyone is welcome; however, registration with the sponsoring association is required.
THURSDAY, Nov. 6

Register with ALCA for this evening of a relaxing dinner experience complete with food and cash bar where you choose your topic and have the opportunity to network without a deadline.
FRIDAY, Nov. 7
6 – 7:30 p.m. PLCAA Live Auction

Have fun and bid for hot products with a professional auctioneer and PLCAA member Harry Collins. Registration at the auction opens at 6 p.m.
SATURDAY, Nov. 8
6 – 10:30 p.m. ALCA Awards Reception and Banquet
Renaissance Grand Hotel
Enjoy dinner with your colleagues and honor the landscape industry’s top award winners. Awards are presented for ALCA’s Environmental Improvement Awards. Through a special multimedia show, view the nation’s leading commercial and residential projects and walk away with award-winning ideas.
And St. Louis itself offers an array of after-hours options. The city, known as the “Gateway to the West,” provides a diverse mix of entertainment and culture. Scenic attractions include the Gateway Arch, the Old Courthouse, Missouri Botanical Gardens Busch Stadium and countless others.
