Event organizers release Cultivate'20 Virtual schedule

The fully online event that replaces the in-person show debuts on Monday, July 13 at 10 a.m. EST.

COLUMBUS – AmericanHort, the host of Cultivate, has released its schedule for Cultivate’20 Virtual, the fully online event that will replace this year's scheduled in-person trade show.

The event debuts on Monday, July 13 at 10 a.m. EST. Cultivate’20 Virtual scheduled activities will occur for four days, ending on Thursday, July 16. The virtual event platform and content will continue to be available to registered AmericanHort members until September 1.

“Moving Cultivate to a virtual event allows the green industry to continue to conduct commerce, train and develop employees, network with business peers, and move forward to ensure our industry comes out of this challenging time as strong as ever,” said Ken Fisher, president and CEO of AmericanHort.

Each day will start with an open exhibit hall of 3D virtual booths, main stage programming, and will provide daily opportunities for networking and industry discussions and on demand and live educations sessions. The day will close with virtual social gatherings.

The main stage programming will occur each day at 11:30 a.m. EST, as follows:

  • State of the Industry Presentation – Monday, July 13
  • Town Hall: Management Lessons from a Pandemic:  What I Learned About Management, Leadership, and Myself – Tuesday, July 14
  • Women in Horticulture: Strategic Networking and Mentorship; Accessing and Building Power through Relationships – Wednesday, July 15
  • Town Hall: What Lies Ahead:  Charting an Industry Path Forward – Thursday, July 16

“We’ve arranged a schedule that allows for daily gatherings of all attendees together, time for exhibitors to meet their customers, concurrent education sessions to share best practices, and opportunities for individual and small group networking,” Fisher said.
