Lawn care professionals and dealers are gearing up for the International Lawn, Garden & Power Equipment Expo, which rolls into Louisville Oct. 6-8 at Louisville’s Kentucky Exposition Center. Sponsored by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, the show presents its mix of trade show, educational sessions and entertainment one last time before the show combines with the Green Industry Expo in 2007.
Attendees can take in the latest equipment and products on the trade show floor 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday and outdoors from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday. Various Dealer and Landsconference seminars are planned all day Friday and Saturday. Topics include practical maintenance tips and ways to succeed in business.
EXPO also provides a way to wind down at the end of each day. The Marshall Tucker Band takes the stage at 5 p.m. Friday as part of Briggs & Stratton’s Roctober. The Briggs Bluesbusters will open the show. Saturday is ExpoFest, featuring a performance by Aaron Tippin.
