Express Blower Owners Gather For Annual Summit

The event is used as an avenue for companies to increase their business and networking opportunities.

Express Blower held its EB Summit, the company’s annual meeting of Express Blower equipment owners, Nov. 6-8 in Las Vegas.

Express Blower has hosted the event for more than 10 years as an avenue for companies to increase their business opportunities and working knowledge through networking with other Express Blower owners from around North America.

The goal of the EB Summit is to encourage owners of Express Blower machines to share insight into strategies and tactics that have proven successful in their local businesses. The event consists of presentations by Express Blower owners and small group sessions that allow attendees to discuss ideas regarding business growth, project diversity and application methodology. EB personnel also present demonstrations on parts, service and new products.

Four of the 28 companies attending this year’s EB Summit participated in the Project of the Year competition, with the award going to a rooftop garden project completed by Downes Forest Products of Hawthorne, N.J.

“It’s an honor to receive this award as these projects are voted on by our peers,” said Jeff Mortensen, manager for Downes. “The competition is always tough, and the projects seem to get bigger and better every year.”

Also presenting projects were Erscon Canada of Edmonton, Alberta; Denbow Transport of Chilliwack, British Columbia; and Mulch Madness of Sacramento, Calif.

“These companies and their projects were so impressive that we can’t wait to see what next year brings,” said Tom McDonald, general manager of Express Blower. “We continue to receive outstanding feedback from attending owners. And we’re very pleased that bringing the EB family together has proven so beneficial to their individual businesses over the years.”
