NEW LONDON, N.C. – Fiberon announced that it received an ADEX 2010 Platinum Award for it’s Horizon composite decking.
“ADEX is the most prestigious awards program for designers, and we are pleased they have recognized the excellence of Horizon Decking, and its combination of beauty and real world practicality,” says Chris Beyer, vice president of marketing.
Horizon decking contains PermaTech surface technology, which allows it to include a 20-year stain and fade resistance warranty, as well as a 20-year overall performance warranty. The Horizon composite decking has the graining of tropical hardwoods and is available in two exotic hardwood colors, Ipe and Rosewood, as well as four solid colors, Sand, Brick, Bronze and Slate.
Design Journal sponsors the annual ADEX awards program, which stands for Awards for Design and Excellence. More 2,000 new products were submitted this year and reviewed by an anonymous panel of professionals from the design industry to determine the award winners at levels of platinum, gold or silver.
