The Florida Landscape Maintenance Association welcomed Tom Burish to the helm of the organization last month.
Mr. Burish has 25 years of experience in the maintenance field and has been a member of the organization since its inception in 1988, serving in many different capacities with the organization. He was instrumental in amending the laws governing pest control in Florida to recognize and include the landscape maintenance professional.
Mr. Burish is dedicated to increasing the professional competence and educational level of landscape management personnel throughout Florida. “We are looking forward to working with Tom and are sure that his drive and enthusiasm will create steps to a new level for the organization,” said Covey Wise, current FLMA president. “We all welcome him aboard.”
