The City of West Palm Beach, Fla., is expected to adjust its water restrictions May 21 to allow lawn irrigation from 4 to 8 a.m. on the one day of week that watering is allowed.
The city and its water customers, which include Palm Beach and South Palm Beach, were restricted to 4 to 7 a.m. irrigation on their designated weekend day.
Hours for the rest of the county are 4 to 8 a.m. under the current Phase III rules.
West Palm Beach officials wanted the city's regulations to be in line with the rest of the county.
Once the resolution is approved, the new hours will go into effect immediately.
Residents with odd-numbered addresses can water their lawns on Saturdays. Residents with even-numbered addresses can water their lawns on Sundays.
