Orlando, FL - On Monday, March 17, Middleton Lawn & Pest Control partnered with the Central Florida Blood Bank and WKMG-TV to host a blood drive in front of its Orlando office on 33rd Street.
Approximately 40 volunteers came out to support the event, resulting in enough blood to save 70 lives. All donations went to the Central Florida Blood Bank, which has been selected to supply additional blood to troops overseas when the need arises.
There was also a special message board that donors signed with their greetings and support for the men and women serving the country. Lt. Ryan McLean from the United States Air Force 45th Squadron accepted the banner that will be delivered to U.S. troops stationed overseas.
