A 44-year-old landscape contractor died June 21 after being struck by lightning outside a Pinecrest, Fla., home, authorities said.
He was not immediately identified.
The man was working in a front lawn when the lightning hit. It wasn't raining.
The bolt struck a nearby tree before striking the man, Sierra said.
Rescue workers rushed him to South Miami Hospital, where he later died.
