Focal Point Communications Transfers PR Division to Gilhooley Consulting

CINCINNATI, Ohio - As of June 1, all public relations services and accounts formerly offered through Focal Point Communications will be administered and delivered through Gilhooley Consulting out of M.J. Gilhooley’s Los Angeles office.

Gilhooley, who has served as director of public relations for Focal Point since 2000, will be providing more focused PR services under her new company. 

Matt Shooner, president of Focal Point Communications, is confident this move will allow both Focal Point and Gilhooley Consulting to exceed all current and future marketing objectives with greater superiority and responsiveness. “This change is intended to allow both firms to offer still higher standards while improving the quality of service delivery," he says. "Focal Point’s forward strategy includes an aggressive focus on our core competency of non-PR marketing communications.”

Gilhooley agrees, stating, “This transfer will propel the level of performance output from both firms, allowing us to fully dedicate our resources to what it is we each do best.”

While Focal Point and M.J. Gilhooley are continuing as strong strategic partners, Gilhooley will assume full administration of Focal Point’s PR accounts as of June 1.
