Focal Pointe appoints Hamilton as new controller

Focal Pointe has appointed Heather Hamilton as the company’s controller.

Hamilton has more than seven years of experience in finance and accounting. She joins Focal Pointe most recently from her role as director of finance for Granite City, Illinois. Prior, she served as an auditor for the U.S. Department of Defense.

As controller, she will be responsible for ensuring that Focal Pointe’s financial controls are healthy and the internal systems in place are functioning to support operations.

“We are thrilled to welcome Heather to our company’s finance group,” says Luke Williams, chief financial officer at Focal Pointe. “With our continued growth, it’s imperative that we maintain a solid financial operation, and we believe Heather is the right person to build and maintain that operation for us.”

Hamilton has a bachelor's degree from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and a master's in business adminstration from Lindenwood University in St. Charles, Missouri. Focal Pointe ranks No. 67 on Lawn & Landscape's Top 100 list.
