Focal Pointe recently named Michael O’Connell its executive director of business development.
“I couldn’t be happier to welcome Michael to the team,” says CEO John Munie. “This is a uniquely challenging role at Focal Pointe because we don’t simply sell landscaping. We provide landscape experiences that can lead to decades-long partnerships, and that takes a different approach. We’re the service solution most people want but didn’t know was out there. Under Michael’s leadership, I think we can change that.”
O’Connell has accumulated over 25 years of experience. His career spans key leadership roles, including vice president national sales for Landscapes USA, regional vice president sales for BrightView Landscapes, and divisional sales leader-West for ValleyCrest.
O’Connell holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of San Diego. Beyond his professional accomplishments, he co-founded and leads the Kyle O’Connell Foundation, which creates awareness of and raises funds for pediatric cancer. He is passionate about fitness, wellness and Ted Lasso, and resides in Littleton, Colorado with his family.
