Garick Corp., which makes and sells lawn and garden products from organic waste, has acquired Tarheel Bark, a North Carolina producer of growing media, mulches soils and other organic materials.
Cleveland-based Garick serves the landscape, construction and lawn and garden industries with products made from food, lawn and forest waste. Tarheel Bark, located in Harrisburg, N.C., also accepts organic waste, which it uses to produce mulches, soils and other products.
The companies did not disclose the terms of the deal. In January, Hendricks Holding Co. Inc. acquired Garick.
