The Garick Corp., Cleveland, Ohio, a leading manufacturer and distributor of sustainable natural resource products, has announced that it is now including the Project EverGreen logo on all bags of its mulches and soils including the Moo-Nure brand of organic compost, Black Satin Mulch, Nature's Helper Soil Conditioner, and Kids Karpet Playground Mulch. This marks the first use of consumer packaging to endorse Project EverGreen – a growing consortium of organizations dedicated to increasing public awareness of the benefits of green spaces. Garick's Paygro division as well as its Smith Garden Products subsidiary will also be placing the Project EverGreen logo on all of its packaging.

“We are pleased to take part in the educational and community efforts being carried out by Project EverGreen,” said Gary Trinetti, president of The Garick Corp. “Using their logo on all our bags is our way of contributing to the movement to spark America’s consciousness about the many benefits to maintaining our landscapes.” Trinetti is also a member of Project EverGreen’s executive committee.

“This represents another valuable exposure to our most important audience – the American homeowner,” says Den Gardner, executive director of Project EverGreen. “These are typical of products and services within the green industry which, together, are working to create a greener country.”
