CAMARILLO, Calif. — Gasoline prices continue to fall. Analyst Trilby Lundberg says prices have dropped nearly four cents a gallon in the past two weeks as supplies remain plentiful while driving demand and crude oil costs drop.
The Lundberg Survey says the average price for a gallon of self-serve gas nationwide, including all grades and taxes, has fallen to about a $1.51, down 3.9 cents since November 21. That’s about 10 cents per gallon higher than for the same day last year.
Prices have dropped nearly 24 cents a gallon since Sept. 12.
According to the American Automobile Association, the national average price for regular gas is a few cents lower, at $1.483, also about a dime more than it was a year ago.
