George Bush to Address Professionals at NTEA Convention

Former U.S. President George Bush will speak to industry professionals at the 40th annual NTEA Convention in Baltimore.

FARMINGTON HILLS, Mich. — In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA), George Bush will present the keynote address during the annual NTEA Convention, held in conjunction with The Work Truck Show 2004.

The 41st president of the United States will address attendees at the President’s Breakfast on Thursday, March 4, 2004, at the Baltimore Convention Center in Baltimore, Md. The convention is scheduled March 2-5, 2004, with trade show runs March 3–5.

While in office, President Bush worked with 32 nations to liberate Kuwait, reduced the threat of nuclear war and signed into law the Clean Air Act. His career in politics began in 1963 with his election to the Harris County (Texas) Republican Party as chairman. Since leaving office in 1993, President Bush has authored two books – A World Transformed, co-authored with General Brent Scowcroft, and All The Best. President Bush was born in Milton, Mass., and was a Navy pilot in World War II.
