Professional Landcare Network (PLANET) President Dan Foley announced at the PLANET Keynote presentation Thursday, Nov. 3 at the Green Industry Expo that the organization has published its new mission and vision statements to kick off 2006. They read:
Vision: The Professional Landcare Network cultivates and safeguards opportunities for our members – the dedicated professionals who create and enhance the world’s landscapes.
Mission: To be the respected leader and voice of the green industry.

PLANET was formed 10 months ago by the merger of the American Landscape Contractors Association and the Professional Lawn Care Association of America. The new vision and mission statements allow the organization to take one more step toward integrating the goals of all the members it represents.
