GIE+EXPO’s New Products Live will Showcase Innovations

A preliminary list of entries will be posted on www.gie-expo.com in August.

After a one-year hiatus, the new-products showcase will be at GIE+EXPO (the Green Industry & Equipment Expo) in Louisville. Now called New Products Live, the popular feature is expected to be larger and more comprehensive than ever.  Signs on each new product will direct attendees to the appropriate exhibits where they can learn firsthand about the products’ applications and benefits.

Products are eligible only if they have been introduced since last year’s show.  A few of the products that have been accepted so far include the Barreto 1824 TK, an 18-horsepower track trencher walk-behind; Pivotrim Pro, a commercial-grade trimmer head from Better Heads LLC; Brutus, a workboot from Lawn Grips Footware featuring a waterproof membrane, “no-feel steel” toe and “grip-n-go” sole; the Power Barrow, a 4-wheel-drive powered wheelbarrow; and Millcreek Manufacturing’s Row Mulcher, side-discharge spreading equipment for bulk materials. A preliminary list of entries was posted on www.gie-expo.com.

Show Director Warren Sellers said, “Research indicates the No.1 reason people attend this tradeshow is to see new products.  New Products Live will highlight those and serve as a great orientation area for an overview of the latest items.  Attendees can use it to map out their strategy for tackling the indoor show floor as well as the hands-on demonstration area.”

The GIE+EXPO is set for Oct. 23–25. It is sponsored by the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute; Professional Landcare Network and the Professional Grounds Management Society.

Pre-registration for a three-day pass to GIE+EXPO is $10 per person. The tradeshow admission for those who wait to register onsite will be $50. To pre-register online and reserve hotel rooms, go to www.gie-expo.com.  Those who register online will be eligible for a drawing for flight certificates to the Caribbean sponsored by Ariens and American Airlines.
