Girard Environmental Services – a full-service green industry company based in Sanford – recently broke ground on its new headquarters. The four-acre facility will be located on 701 Condisco Way in Sanford – less than a half mile from the company’s current headquarters. The new headquarters will have 6,500 square feet of office space and 3,200 square feet of space for a fleet maintenance building.
Currently, Girard’s corporate offices and Girard Environmental Services headquarters are in two different locations in Sanford. The new headquarters will help the company streamline its efficiency process.
“We started Girard Environmental services in 1998, and operated out of a 10-by-16-foot Shurgard Storage space in Lake Mary. We then moved into our current location with only three trucks and seven employees,” says Rick Girard, CEO of Girard Environmental Services. “Eight years later, GES now has 150 full-time employees and 70 vehicles – so this new facility is long overdue,” said Rick Girard, CEO of Girard Environmental Services.
The company is slated to be moved into the headquarters in early October.
