Brady has opened a new distribution center in Houston, Texas to support the continued growth of the company’s SPC spill control and containment product lines. This new facility will begin shipping orders May 14, 2012.
“We’ve seen tremendous growth with our SPC product lines in the southern part of the U.S.,” said Carlo Emanuele, product manager for Brady. “So much growth, that we needed more warehouse space to keep up with the increased demand.”
According to Emanuele, the new facility will offer a number of benefits to their distributors and customers in that region of the country, including faster delivery times and reduced shipping costs.
“The new facility is great news for our distributors,” said Emanuele. “It means we can fulfill orders faster, and it also reduces our freight expenses on the delivery. It’s another example of how we are reinvesting back into our business in order to provide exceptional service for our customers.”
The Houston facility will be Brady’s third distribution center dedicated to shipping its SPC spill containment and clean up products, which include absorbent pads and rolls, pillows, SOCs, mats, spill kits, and more. The company’s existing facilities are located in Reno, Nev., and Somerset, N.J.
