SedgeHammer is said to effectively control both yellow and purple nutsedge in cool-season and warm-season turfgrasses with safety to most turfgrass species. “With SedgeHammer Herbicide, turf managers and lawn professionals can continue to rely on the same proven efficacy as its predecessor, Manage Turf Herbicide,” said Kory Wheeler, SedgeHammer Herbicide product manager for Gowan Co. “Turf professionals can be assured that SedgeHammer has the type of formulation, use rates, packaging, efficacy, and safety to both cool- and warm-season turfgrass that they have grown accustomed to with Manage.”
SedgeHammer is currently available in 1.3-ounce bottles with measuring devices to treat 1 acre, or 0.9-gram packets for treatments of 1,000 square feet.
