Landscape professionals who want to “feel the power” of outdoor power equipment can enter the Husqvarna “Feel The Power” Sweepstakes and then cross their fingers in hopes of bringing home the grand prize.
The winner of the nationwide sweepstakes will receive an official Husqvarna landscape truck – loaded with the latest models of Husqvarna outdoor power equipment.
"The sweepstakes is an opportunity to increase awareness that we offer a complete line of power equipment for landscapers," explained Barbara Paez, vice president of marketing for Husqvarna. "By awarding a truck loaded with all the Husqvarna equipment that landscapers may need, we're demonstrating that we are truly the 'Total Source Solution'."
The truck is decked out with a full crew cab, automatic transmission, air conditioning, a grated flat bed, a mower ramp and a full-size tool rack. Loaded with a Husqvarna zero-turn mower, hydro walk, backpack blower, trimmer, hedge trimmer, chain saw and edger, the truck will outfit one winner in the total outdoor package for any landscape job.
A second-prize winner will be awarded a trip for two to the 2004 NASCAR race in Charlotte, N.C., including suite tickets, airfare and lodging. And a third-prize winner will receive a certificate for two to the King’s Experience, the hands-on program that allows participants to handle a high performance racecar at the Richard Petty Driving School.
Sweepstakes winners will be announced at the 2003 Green Industry Expo in St. Louis, Mo., Nov. 5-8. The deadline for sweepstakes registration is Oct. 1, 2003.
In addition to the November drawing, a monthly random drawing will also be held. Each monthly winner will receive one of six Husqvarna outdoor power products, ranging from an aerator to a backpack blower.
