Los Angeles is leading the nation in becoming “green,” according to a radio interview with Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa which aired on The Green Industry Talk Show, Nick Federoff on Gardening.
“This was my first meeting with his Honor” Federoff says. “He came right out of the gate by getting down to the issues.”
Villaraigosa talked with Federoff at the 30th Annual Home Remodeling & Decorating Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center. After a press conference the Mayor spoke with Federoff to discuss L.A.’s Green Initiative plans. The interview was then aired on Federoff’s syndicated radio show heard on stations throughout the country and is posted for on-demand listening as a podcast.
“I’ve had the opportunity to speak with a lot of powerful people in my career," Federoff says. "I must say that Mr. Villaraigosa struck me as a genuine, warm and caring person sincerely concerned about the issues and the people he represents.
