Industry expert Jan Habets will be among the featured speakers at Congress 2009 – Canada’s largest horticultural show – and the Green Forum. Habets’ keynote speech will open the show on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at 9 a.m. Congress 2009 runs from Jan. 6 to 8 at the Toronto Congress Centre.
Jan Habets is the managing director of Plant Publicity Holland, a founding member of the Green City initiative and a committee member for the World Horticultural Exhibition, Floriade 2012. He has been involved in horticulture since 1979 with roles in research, international marketing and communications. Habets, an expert on horticulture and its importance to urban environments will discuss the ways that environmental awareness will impact your business in the future.
