Industry veteran Marty Grunder recently won a national award for his booked titled “The 9 Super Simple Steps to Entrepreneurial Success.”
Grunder wrote the book – named “Business Book of the Year” by the Independent Publishers Association on May 30 – as a guide for aspiring entrepreneurs seeking success in the business world.
“There are way too many business books that do not apply to the everyday small business owner,” explains the founder and president of Grunder Landscaping, Miamisburg, Ohio. “I wanted to share the things I have learned in running Grunder Landscaping and hopefully help other entrepreneurs avoid the many mistakes I have made and capitalize on the many good things we have done.”
The recognized author started Grunder Landscaping in 1984 as a way to fund his college education. Today the company is a multi-million-dollar firm, employing 45. In May the company received the Better Business Bureau’s Integrity Eclipse Award.
Grunder is also an accomplished professional speaker, with an upcoming Lawn & Landscape Marketing & Sales Bonanza conference scheduled July 24-26 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
