LITTLESTOWN, Pa. – Deb Curtis has been named planning/scheduling manager for exterior lighting manufacturer Hadco Lighting, the company announced Monday. In this newly expanded position, Curtis will direct the company's efforts to enhance customer responsiveness through incremental improvements in product forecasting, inventory control and alliances with suppliers.
After more than 20 years with Hadco in a variety of roles, Curtis has considerable experience in virtually every aspect of exterior lighting production. She began her career on the shop floor, performing hands-on assembly of the company's many exterior lighting products. Recognized for her integrity and leadership, she was elected chairperson by the local members of the International Brothers of Electrical Workers. In 1997, she was asked to guide a company effort to develop a comprehensive quality department, eventually assuming the position of quality manager. In 2003, she became a product manager, a position that she is leaving to take this new role.
Curtis is a certified quality auditor and a certified International Organization for Standardization lead auditor. She and her husband Tom live in Littlestown, Pa.
