Ukiah, Calif. - For the past six years, the California Interior Plantscape Association (CIPA) has honored interior landscape professionals and allied trade persons who have been instrumental in the industry's development through its Interiorscape Hall of Fame.
CIPA is now calling for Hall of Fame nominations for 2002. Individuals nominated must have contributed to the industry for a minimum of 15 years. Consideration also will be given to the nominee's extent and breadth of experience; activity in industry associations; leadership and achievements within the industry; and character and integrity.
More than one nominee may be submitted per category - plantscaping professional, allied trade professional and posthumous inductee. Nominees not chosen for induction in 2002 will be held in consideration for two more years.
For a nomination form, contact CIPA's office at 707/462-2276, visit its Web site. Then fax completed nomination forms to the CIPA office (707/463-6699) by Feb. 19.
The 2002 inductees will be honored at CIPA's Interiorscape Hall of Fame and Awards Banquet Thursday, Aug. 29 during CalScape Expo in San Francisco. Last year's inductees included Greg Eberly, Linnaea Newman and Richard Wilcox. - Ali Cybulski
