Harvey L. Massey, president/CEO of Massey Services, Inc., was recently honored with the Orange County, Fla. Citizen of the Year Award from District 5 Commissioner Bill Segal. This award is given annually at the Commissioner's discretion at Orange County's Annual Community Conference.
The Citizen of the Year award recognizes a district resident who has made exceptional contributions to Orange County and its citizens. In Massey's case, these embody the principles of community leadership, selflessness and integrity, and promote the good of the community through his professional and volunteer activities.
Massey has been contributing to the Central Florida community for over twenty years. Massey and Massey Services' Team Members have contributed countless hours of community service and financial support to non-profit organizations including Winter Park Memorial Hospital, United Cerebral Palsy, Junior Achievement, Florida Citrus Sports, The Leukemia Society, Jewish National Fund, and United Arts of Central Florida.
"I feel privileged to be a part of our community," Massey says. "I believe we all have to do our part to make this a better place to live and raise a family.
