HD Hyundai XiteSolution is merging its two construction equipment affiliates, effective Jan. 1, 2026, to form a new company, tentatively named HD Construction Equipment.
This merger will combine HD Hyundai Construction Equipment and HD Hyundai Infracore, which currently manufacture and market the Hyundai and Develon brands of construction equipment, respectively. The Hyundai and Develon brands, which today operate in the United States and Canada through separate dealer networks, will continue to be sold and supported through distinct, independent dealer networks. The new entity will share R&D resources and is also planning to expand aftermarket services and engine development and sales.
“Hyundai dealers and customers can be confident in the continuing strength of the Hyundai brand,” says Stan Park, CEO, HD Hyundai Construction Equipment North America. “This merger gives the Hyundai and Develon brands the full backing of a powerful global company that expects to exceed US$11 billion in sales by 2030.”
