The General Law Committee of the Connecticut State Legislature held a public hearing on Feb. 5 on House Bill 5792.
The bill would require the Commissioner of Consumer Protection to adopt regulations establishing minimum efficiency standards for automatic lawn sprinkler systems, including a requirement that each such system be equipped with a moisture sensor device.
