Heritage Landscape Supply Group has acquired Nebraska's Heritage Nursery, a distributor of nursery products and live goods. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Founded in 1989 by Bill Spittler, Heritage Nursery operates two locations in Omaha and Lincoln, and currently employs a team of 20 people. Spittler will continue to lead their team.
“We are excited to announce our latest acquisition of Heritage Nursery in Nebraska," says Chris McMurrough, president of Heritage Landscape Supply Group. "The company helps expand our product offering into live goods and, in concert with our recent partnership with Outdoor Solutions, will enable Heritage to offer its customers a full-suite landscape supply offering in the state. This marks the second metro area where Heritage now has a complete end-to-end landscape platform, which presents a significant cross-selling opportunity in the area.”
“Heritage Nursery has grown into an outstanding wholesale distributor because of the dedication, talent, and hard work of our exceptional employees," Spittler says. "Heritage Landscape Supply Group’s shared commitment to its people, combined with its resources and operational scale, will provide new opportunities for growth and success for our entire team. This transition marks an exciting new chapter that will allow us to further distinguish ourselves in the marketplace while maintaining the values and standards that have made us successful.”
