Horizon Opens Store in Idaho

The North Idaho panhandle has a new distributor. Horizon, a full-service supplier of landscape and irrigation supplies, opened its newest store in Hayden on Aug. 20, 2007. The Grand Opening celebration will take place on Wednesday, Sept. 26 between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m.

Horizon continues to show its knowledge of the Idaho market by opening another store in a growing metropolitan area. Hayden joins Horizon Spokane as the second store in the Inland Northwest. The store will service landscape professionals, municipalities, nurseries, and golf courses throughout Northern Idaho. Offering deliveries to points north including the Canadian border and south to Grangeville.

The building was built to specification for Horizon, designed for functionality to best serve the landscape customer. Like Horizon’s other stores, the Hayden location has a complete stock of all Horizon’s product lines, including irrigation & water management, chemicals & fertilizers, power equipment, pond supplies, landscape lighting, outdoor barbeques, and tools; offering true one-stop-shopping with “Four Stores Under One Roof”. The store is 13,000 square feet, with an acre of yard space for ample parking and storage. Hayden is professionally merchandised with product descriptions, manufacturer cut sheets and bilingual aisle signs throughout.

Nick Newman, store manager and seven-year veteran of Horizon, worked in the Spokane store three years and has spent the last four years managing the company's Salt Lake City, Utah facility. He is very familiar with the market place. The Hayden team is professionally trained and available to assist with product recommendations, specifications and solutions.
