Dr. H. Marc Cathey, an OFA Award of Excellence Recipient, OFA Bulletin author, OFA Short Course speaker, former D.C. Kiplinger Chair at the Ohio State University, and top-notch horticulturist passed away earlier this week.
Dr. Cathey's long and varied career spanned several decades. Some career hightlights include director of the National Arboretum, president and CEO of the American Horticultural Society, USDA plant physiologist, and respected author.
